The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their pupils.

For the financial year 2025-26 we received £19,480.

During the 2025/26 academic year, Lincoln St Faith & St Martin CE Junior School received £19,480 in PE and Sport Premium funding. The school made a deliberate decision to invest the funding in high-quality specialist PE and sports provision, ensuring that the premium directly supported pupils’ physical activity, engagement in sport and the quality of the school’s PE offer.

A significant element of this investment was the school’s partnership with Multi Sport Pro Ltd. The school’s financial records demonstrate expenditure of £21,630 with the provider during the period covered by the accounts, including payments of £8,740 and £12,670, together with a further £220 payment. This demonstrates that the school not only utilised its full £19,480 PE and Sport Premium allocation, but supplemented the funding with approximately £2,150 from the school’s own resources in order to maintain and enhance its commitment to PE and physical activity.

The investment enabled PE and sport to remain a high priority within the school. By purchasing specialist provision rather than treating the premium as a standalone or short-term resource, the school was able to strengthen the breadth and quality of opportunities available to pupils and support a consistent approach to physical education across the school.

The school’s approach was focused on achieving value beyond simply spending the allocation. The funding was used as part of a wider commitment to increase pupils’ opportunities to be physically active, develop their skills and confidence, encourage positive attitudes towards sport and physical activity, and strengthen the quality of PE provision. The additional financial contribution made by the school demonstrates its commitment to sustaining this provision beyond the level of funding received.

As a result, the £19,480 PE and Sport Premium was fully deployed and supported by further school investment, demonstrating that the grant was used purposefully as part of the school’s wider strategy for improving PE, sport and physical activity.
