Reporting to Parents

Parent Evenings take place in the Autumn and Spring Terms. All parents are encouraged to attend.

Parents are given a 10 minute slot for these meetings which are bookable by Parent Mail or via the school office.

At these meetings, assessment data, attendance data and general comments are shared with the parents.

If a child in your class has been identified as having additional needs and has targets which are met through in house intervention, these need to be reviewed at this meeting and new targets for the next term set.

Children who have more complex additional needs and have an EHC, which involve input from outside agencies, have separate meetings organised by the ANCo during the school day to assess their targets.

In the Summer Term an annual written report is sent to parents and parents are given the option of requesting a meeting if there is something on the report which they wish to discuss.

Parent Forums

We actively encourage parents to be involved in school life and run termly parents’ forums.

The meetings  are designed to keep parents informed on what is happening in school, how they can help their children at home and any key changes happening in school.
